Fitts Local was founded on a simple belief: some of the best local businesses are closer than we realize — we just haven't discovered them yet.
It's easy to stay within the places and businesses we already know, while incredible restaurants, shops, services and experiences may be waiting just one community over.
We believe helping local businesses grow sometimes takes a village — and that village doesn't have to stop at the town limits. Fitts local creates new ways for businesses to be seen, discovered and connected through creative advertising, partnerships and experiences that bring neighboring communities together.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Small business has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a small-business family, which gave me an early appreciation for the work, risk and heart that goes into building something of your own.
Today, I'm building Fitts Local with that same appreciation for entrepreneurship — and with my own family at the heart of why I'm doing it.
My husband, Kevin, and I have eperienced small-business ownership ourselves, each bringing different strengths to the table. Those experiences have only deepened my respect for the people behind the local businesses that make our communities special.
Fitts Local brings together so many things I care about: supporting entrepreneurs, connecting people, discovering great local places and creating something meaningful for the communities — and family — I love.

If you're building something of your own, I know there's often a lot more behind the business than what people see from the outside — long days, big ideas. hard decisions and plenty of figuring things out as you go.
That's why I'm passionate about getting to know the people behind our local businesses, hearing their stories, and finding creative ways to help more people discover and support what they've created.
